New Year's Eve

It's almost the end of 2012! I feel as if time really went by fast as the beginning of the year still feels fresh in my mind. It feels fitting as this is my first blog posting. =)

The purpose to this blog would be sharing bits and pieces of my thoughts from time to time. It would be a place where my thoughts are gathered. In addition, I am an amateur writer and it would be a good place to practice my writing skills in the form of possible flash fictions or short stories when I get a good idea to start off. I hope you'll enjoy that when they go up from time to time...

One of my resolution for next year would be to try to write at least a minimum of 1000 words each week on one of my working stories or short stories since I didn't really do as much writing as I would have hope last year.

As I'm new to blogging, I'm still learning what to and how to formulate on what to write on a blog for a posting so everything is a learning process. I'm quite confused of this idea so far.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, and will have a Happy New Year! Happy Holidays! I wish everyone is happy with their friends and family during the winter holidays =)

    I've been trying to write 600/300 words per day (depending on the month) with little success. Let me know if you ever want to do a word war! I'm finding that without the competitive edge of NaNoWriMo, my motivation has flatlined...

The past couple of days have been a mix of a break and focusing more on my WIPs. Sorry about that. I started from scratch on one of my novels, and I realized just how long of a path it will take to reach the end this time around. Writing prompt: Write a 50 word story in the adventure genre. It's about an actor and should include a piece of paper. Also use the sentence 'Leave me alone!' Hope you enjoy! ~~~ In my trailer, I kept on rehearsing my lines written in the script. It's still a dream come true to be able to play The Indiana Jones in the reboot. My Impressions of Hinokio

(Image used from: http://asianwiki.com/Hinokio:_Inter_Galactic_Love) I recently watched a Japanese movie called Hinokio. It's relatively an old movie as it was released in 2005. It has a number of child actors that are now stars in the present. The movie stars Masatoshi Nakamura, Kanata Hongo, Mikako Tabe, Maki Horikita, and Ryoko Kobayashi. Excluding Masatoshi Nakamura, these are one of the first movies for the young actors and it's great to see them in something at the start of their acting career in my opinion. You can see them develop as actors compared to the movies and dramas that they star in now. Overall, I enjoyed it as it is a heartwarming, emotional, funny, cute, and a tearjerker of a movie.  The story is about loss, friendship, family, youth, and love. From the tagline for the movie is Inter Galactic Love, you can probably assume it has a sci-fi concept of some sort. Contrary to what some movies portraying robots as evil (ex.
